OktopusRiot Designs began as a small side business making floating frames for fellow artists at the Oakdale Painting Studio and at Soma Artists Studio. It is now a full-time woodworking studio.
I personally select the most beautiful, sustainably grown boards available among such species as bubinga, maple, walnut, purpleheart and more - each with its own characteristics and features - to make custom furniture and other objects of the finest quality. This includes cutting/serving/charcuterie boards (live edge if requested), trays, desk organizers, candle holders, frames, and more. I have recently incorporated leather designs either in combination with wood or, for example, leather folios for professionals and those who love the feel and texture of exquisite leather.
